A tall (>6ft 2") friend wants a mountain bike and I wondered what people thought of the above. Seems pretty good value considering the Recon forks but never used any of the components on there (only run shimano on all my bikes).
Anyone got one in Teal? Looks a bit marmite.

review in the current mag, with two other 29ers under 1k.

That about sums it up.
I had one I built up myself with a custom selection of parts, and it was not a light bike. The build that On One have put together is not light either by some stretch, though it should all work well enough.
