[Closed] I Wish 11/12/13T Sprockets Had Slightly Thicker Teeth

So, another new cassette/chain arrived today.

I'm consistently wearing out the smallest three sprockets on my commuter bike cassette (i.e. chain starts jumping teeth accelerating hard or stomping up a hill). I can see the worn metal on the trailing edge of the teeth.

It's particuarly bad on the 12T sprocket. Being a flat-ish commute, I guess this gets used most of the time.

I keep the drivetrain clean and lubricated, so I figure I'm minimising wear and tear due to grit and grime.

It'd be great if the teeth were slightly thicker, I'm sure there's space for the chain to cope with an extra 0.2mm or something.

Are there any cassettes that appear to wear better than other? I tend to go for the cheapest SRAM ones as they always seem to be on offer at CRC.

I guess my only other option is an Alfine or Nexus hub ...

You need bigger chainrings.

Bigger chainrings, or just replace the smaller sprockets. Loose ones are often available separately, although may be more than a cheap cassette.
