Just about to charge my Wahoo HR monitor but obviously it has a bespoke charger. Why not use micro USB? Nope we need a charger that only fits this one product in the whole world. See also Garmin watches etc. Obviously can't find effing charger.....
Found it, now just need to figure out who moved it.
I am ridiculously excited to discover that the cheap 12V multitool I just ordered uses the same batteries and charger as another 12v tool I have. That should just bloody be how it works though!

Yes, USB C is a better option than Micro USB.
To be fair, some of these watches are a bit too small and thin for a proper USB C / Micro USB socket. And that could have issues with waterproofing.

I have the puck charger for my Garmin watch. Works well!
