Going on a stag do next weekend, stopping in a country mansion for 3 days, going to take the bike as I always get up at daft o'clock in the morning (no matter how much I've drunk) and wondered if there are any good rides to be had in the area?

30-40 mins drive to Dalby?

Don't know of any trails round there .... too close to Dalby for me to even think of looking

HOWEVER

Filey is meant to be good for Surfing if thats your thing

Yeah I know Dalby isn't far away, might just have to convince the rest of the gang a day's MTBing at Dalby is a good idea.

if you ride to humanby gap. Head to the beach, near the small alcove there is a path with steps up the cliff. once up there you can cycle along the cliff edge most of the way along. Just a field path really but nice views.

You can ride the coastal path to Brid or part way to Filey,very pleasant.Theres always the beaches which continue on from the above track to Filey or south of Brid (never got to the end of this stretch!).
