Just changing the bearings in my campagnolo scirroco hubs. The olds ones are 6001 1RS but is it better to change them to 6001 2RS?

is there a grease or oil port in the hub?

No. The unshielded end is on the internal side so I guess no dirt really gets in there.

RS = Rubber Seal.

Eg: 1 RS will have a single rubber seal (one side), 2 will have two (both sides).

So as per JW above, if it has a grease port, a 1 RS with the seal on the outside is the way ahead. Otherwise 2RS won't hurt.

Thanks. I'll just get 2RS as they seem easier to find.

If you really want to, you can prise one of the seals out of a 2Rs to turn it in to a 1RS.
In fact, I've seen a bearing stockist do this on the counter as it saves having to carry three versions of one bearing.
