any thoughts on how to make one, who has etc,

i am ona 1x9 set up with bashguard, but still loose the chain in the lower gears.

this would have been a good idea 10 years ago, now there are sooo many cheap devices like a blackspire stinger or similar its not worth the effort unless youve got time to burn

i am skint, got a box of bits and dont want the noise associated with the type of chain device.

i like the look of the new hope device

running 1 x 9, (27 x 11-32)
the king top cap is screwed where the e-type mech is secured
works a treat!! 😀

I had a superstarcomponents one delivered the other day. Looks ok for £16. Not fitted yet, but toying with cutting it down a bit, like the Pauls components one.

i am thinking a cut down front mech, just enough to keep the chain inline and on track.
