We got down the main part of that on the tandem only to topple over on a small root at the bottom ๐Ÿ™‚

Plenty of mincing there, even by my standards.

Donk - Its easy to get Herbivore and myself confused. We both ooze a certain ruggedly handsome northern charm.

However he's a lot more GGGGGGGNNNNNNAAAAAAARRR than me, slightly hairier of face with less of a predilection for sausages. And he's right... I was indeed riding a lasses bike on Saturday. With comedy 1.7 skinny tyres

My claim to fame is that I was both the first and last victim of The Endura Free Fall on Saturday.

I fell down it when I put the Endura flag up and I went through the ice at the bottom in to 12" of water when I went to take it down again.

I hate that hill.

It'll be all change next year. The Trail Pixies and their diggers are on their way soon.

Berm me up Scotty.

I'm not. I might hire a slo-mo video camera and make a fortune off You've Been Framed though.

I did consider riding it on my way to the Church Inn but as I'd managed it all through the race I didn't wanna push my luck in a couple of inches of snow. I went straight on instead of turning left into the gulley, discretion/valour moment ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Has anyone mentioned the little girl marshalling at the tunnel yet, she was brilliant, cheering/shouting/cajoling everyone along. Give it a couple of years and she'll be at the top of MTFU hill or the bottom of the free fall heckling the hell out of everyone not trying hard enough ๐Ÿ™‚

I think her and her mum (who was also there) were at the same point last year.

They managed shouts of encouragment for the whole 2 hours last year as well.

good on em.

Yes they were, if Carlsberg made marshalls.... I made a comment to a bloke I was near that if I had that much enthusiasm, I'd be winning.

A very happy looking MrLugz Jr right at the start of that video. Sat huddled in his helmet 3 layers, buff, and dads coat.
