Bit of a silly question, but i need to hire a car to get my hardtail + assorted bike stuff back from Bristol to Manchester. Used to have Ford Focus 3 dr and if i took the front wheel off i could fit the bike in the back with the seats down.
Options i have for hire -
Vauxhall Astra 1.6 5dr
Renault Megane 1.4 5dr
VW Golf 1.9 5dr
presume all of them are the latest models. Can anyone who owns one of these confirm i'll be able to get my bike in the back.

Golf Yes, though I did once get 2 bikes and 2 people in a Mk2 Fiesta, noses on the windscreen though

Current Fiesta, Corsa, Polo, Micra, Note, Jazz, Clio are all easily big enough to fit a bike in.
