What fork? Warranty Claim?
That will buff out?
disappointed, thought this was going to be a pirate themed thread ๐
Easily fixed. Tim @ Sideways did mine.
Another maverick fail. Fabled around these parts as being crafted from pure cheese. It doesn't help that the Tolla rides on my doorstep with frequent maverick issues. Feel for you though dog.
loving the exposed thread look.
Now with easy to clean threads! I trust you were wearing a helmet & leet brace whilst using a torque wrench?
Gotta be a weight saving there too!
not fixed before scotland trip next week i fear ๐
Can lend you some forks if needs RD. PM me.
the nice bearded man @ Sideways says he can fix it...tomorrow! yay!
now that is service extraordinaire, answering a desperate email at 22:43 on a friday night ๐
cheers for the offer Andy
Yay for Tim ๐
fixed in about 15 mins, including coffee!
I had one of those fail on one of my SC32's, I emailed Maverick and they sent me a couple (can't remember how much they were) I've got a spare one sitting on the desk in front of me, and no you can't have it ๐
*blows raspberry*
If you are using Hope hubs with adaptor for the Mav fork there is a known problem that Maverick acknowledge - best avoided. Of course it might not be a Hope hub..
it's a maverick hub and it was my own fault for over tightening the closing mechanism
