Thoughts on this route:

Is the inevitable pushing rewarded with a full ride down that inc challenge and excitment and no feeling of wasted hard earned gravity???
Thanks in advance.
Lower Man is a hoot, with a captial HOO. Instead of descending down Keppel Cove, you should stay high and continue onwards towards Sticks Pass.
Descending Keppel Cove would be a heinous waste of height.
There are other cheeky ways down instead of descending Sticks Pass back to the highlighted route, but they are cheeky.
On the way back down, you can back track, go over Raise from the saddle (not much climbing at all), then down to the crossroads on the path, turn right and go down Sticks Pass - great track and an uninterrupted descent all the way back to Glenridding!
I'd rather a circular route than an out and back so would go up Grisdale from Patterdale, then hike-a-bike up dollywagon then down via Lower Man, Raise and sticks pass.
Thx very much.
Looks like a clear consensus on best way down.
Any chance of a GPS or TCX file?
Thx, I found the tcx file on gpsies.
