Hi all, currently running 9 speed Xtr shifters,front and rear mechs & cassette. Would like to swap to Xtr shadow plus rear mech. If i swap to a 10 speed shifter with the shadow plus is this compatible with my 9 speed crank / cassette / chain /? 😯 Thanks in advance

My understanding is you would need
10spd rear shifter
10spd cass
10 spd chain
Can keep
Front 9 spd shifter
Front mech
Current c/set ( but could ultimately change rings to 10 spd if they suit your crank)
I think above is correct but may be wrong

That's about the gist of it. You will need chain and cassette as well.
