To cut a VERY long story short - i want to get back out riding after a 4 year break. I HAD loads of nice bikes - last of which was a 140mm travel AM bike with all bells/whistles etc but cash flow forced the sale of this!!

I now am the proud owner of a Giant Talon 650b hardtail with basic spec! I want to get back out riding in the peaks/sheffield area and it is not much bike for the rocks etc!! Cash is still tight and the main thing i'd like to upgrade are the forks but have not a clue whats what after the sebatical!

I need 650b/9mm QR air forks that are better than the  Suntour XCM, HLO, QR, 100mm  that are currently on it!

looking for second hand and <£200! moon on a stick i know!

What don't you like about the Suntours?

Finding a 9mm QR decent fork for under £200 might be tough.

Pinkbike is showing these options :

you can get a brand new 120mm reba for £220 if your frame has a tapered head tube

My 2014 Talon was straight steerer, but I *think* it would take a tapered steerer with an external headset hearing.

Mine had the Rockshox TK Gold forks which were OK.
