Hi
I've got a Citroen Nemo van that i want to floor. Been looking at rubber matting but can't find any sizes big enough and would prefer one piece instead of having to join bits together. Looking for a minimum size of 1.8m by 1.5m but the only ones i've seen are a max of 1.2m wide. I know lots of guys on the forum have vans so just wondering what you all recommend.
Cheers

B&Q do rolls of the stuff for £15, sold as "rubber runner". It's what's in the back of my berlingo, though it's only half-lined.

Ah just checked, not wide enough:

When I was looking into it, various ebay sellers do custom cut rubber flooring for vans, get on there.

Have you actually tried Citroen themselves? VW did a custom fitted rubber floor in my Caddy, Citroen may do something similar

just used cheap cord carpet, if it gets muddy, just leave to dry and hoover up.
had the same carpet down for about 5 years now.

Keep an eye on ebay the rubber mat floors from the rear of transporters seemed to come up fairly often when i was looking and you could recut one of those to the size for your van.

Transporter mats arent very suitable. They are rubber with a pile filling which makes them spongy. YUnfortunately that means if you cut them to size the filling falls out and it gets messy over time.

I have a ply liner who does a lot of citreon vans and the liners in the bigger models are ideal for my Mercedes customers. I get them FOC off him and give them to my customers to cut down to size. Where are you based??

Also, have you considered a spray liner? I was having a look at having the back of my Merc Dualiner done in it. Basically a spray on plastic coating that you can have in smooth or grippy tecture and different colours. Very hard wearing. Not sure of the price but i imagine its not cheap compared to a mat.

have a look on the t4 forum and search 'flooring', you should find loads of advice albeit vw based.

gen vw standard is ply topped with altro flooring (bought as an off cut from ebay).

Ply line then 'contract' brillo esque dark grey carpet from local carpet wholesalers?

Our berlingo van (when we had it sob sob) came with a citroen rubber mat designed specifically for the van. As I ply lined it as above, it only wnet in the van when we were carting really dirty stuff around and not sleeping in the van as it had ridges and was uncofortable to kneel on etc.

I'm doing mine this weekend. Carpet over ply with vinyl over the top of that. Plus carpet underneath the ply. Should give it a wipe clean but padded surface for knealing on. Just need to be careful not to rip the vinyl.
