Had these forks from new and the u-turn adjuster has always been a bit stiff on them. Then at the weekend I was trying to wind them out and could hardly move it, ended up unscrewing the top cap rather than being able to turn the adjuster. Any ideas? Is this something simple or should I just send it away under warranty?

Cheers.

I'd take the spring out to see if the adjuster moves freely when the spring is out of the fork. Very easy to do.

take the spring out, they can get jammed in the end of the springs - i find it's best to wind to end then back half turn.

my was stiff at first because it was missing some of the bearings (loose balls) under the cap.
