So 5 set off this morning ,from Hebden Bridge to do the Tod loop via Pecket well ... where did we go wrong
Firstly two decided that breakfast wasn't needed , and one came on a bit of a dog Halfords special , Climbing from HB through Pecket well ,the map instilled in our minds we missed the turning carried on up towards Stanbury after 2 failed attempts to go left over the moor ,each resulting in a heather enriched moorland walk , Then back to the track to Stanbury , one almost came a cropper on the decent down and managing to sort his life out 5 foot in the air after an unsuspecting boost moment , Then the climb from Oxenhope to Denholme ,and moor trail back to Ogden , then the climb back towards the HB /Kiethley road and back via peckets , one lad did boths brake pads ,lost glasses and cramp 29 miles later back to the car and Hog Roast with the locals
Why oh why didn't I print the map off !! lesson learned
