[Closed] Have helmets changed shape in the last couple of years?

Inside, I mean.

I have a Giro Havoc that must be 4+ years old and has seen better days. Thought it would be a case of pick another Giro and I'd be fine - they all dig in at the top-back of my head, even the current Havoc. MET, Specialized, Fox all do helmets that either dig in somewhere else or won't sit right and feel like they'll slide up if I fell on my face.

I'm getting convinced something changed when they went to fewer sizes (because they claim the new retention systems can cope with a bigger range) - anyone else found the same?
