I need something like this to get my lights mounted....

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Minoura-Space-Handlebar-Extension-120mm/dp/B000OYFS3G

.....the thing is it needs to have a slimmer clamping feature. I have Easton carbon bars with a Thomson stem and am trying to mount my older Niterider Hid light but there no way as theres only around 5mm of level bar either side of the stem clamp before it starts to sweep up.........so it won't securely clamp only on a daft angle...!!!

Does anyone know of any alternatives or homemade ides that work.....???

Ta

Johnny

I think that one will also clamp onto your stem. The bottom bit of the main extension can be removed, rotated through 90 degrees and refastened.

Apologies, the Swing Grip is the one you need

I had one of those - problem is, if you mount heavy things on them (lights, GPS) instead of light things (computer, backup light) all the bouncing off road means they break fairly quickly. Now I just have less kit on my bars!
