anyone ever seen or know of a handheld torch (maglite) that is just a red beam/lens?
maybe used by the military?
You could slap a red filter on just about anything.
I'd suggest a red led drop in for a surefire G2 body.
It really depend what you want to do with it?
The maglite I had came with a red lense I think, you just unscrewed the end and could change the lense. I know some people used to just colour the end in with a marker pen if they couldn't change the filter
i made a red lens for my maglite from a GT85 lid, just trim it to the right diameter, it was quite good actually, no 'glare'.
this is assuming for reading etc, its nowhere near bright enough for use as a rear light.

or multi filters

the fenix tourches i got years ago came with a clip on red lens,
no doubt you could get some red plastic to cover the lens just fine.
Olight M20 Crimson will do it.
Runs on CR123 or [dodgy ] ole' 18650's only.
I do use red light quite often (to preserve night vision), but I like having it as an option, rather than the sole output so I use filters on other tac lights, (rather than use anything that's a natively red output).
Not a torch, but energizer do a head torch with a red option.
