Saturday 1st is Global Fat Bike day.
But the main GFBD ride on Anglesey at Newbough Forest and beach this year is on Sunday 2nd (logistical issues, families, training sessions, etc)
Several of us will be riding on the Saturday night to tick the GFBD box and bivi'ing out overnight to meet up with the main group on Sunday morning
Message from Jeff the organiser
"As per tradition we'll be riding and camping (weather permitting) at Newborough Beach on Anglesey for #GFBD2018. The plan is to set up camp after a short ride on Saturday 1st December and have a bevvy whilst chatting fat bike stuff. Then the ride will be GFBD +1 on the Sunday.ย
Meet Saturday evening at the car park or the camp spot (grid ref supplied nearer the time to those who confirm).
Riding for 10am on Sunday, expect some woodland trails, sand, rocks and marshland. Bring money for the car park and some banter. Any questions please ask....
*Disclaimer* As GFBD is on the Saturday feel free to get the miles in during the day as the camp spot is about 1 mile from the car park."
