Gisburn trail conditions

Had planned a trip to Llandegla tomorrow but the weather looks a bit rank. Gisburn looks okay but I've not been up that way for a while - anyone been recently that can comment on the condition of the trails?

Cheers!

very washed out, lots of exposed roots, the same as Gisburn has been for the past 5 years,

Llandegla has had a lot of rain and the puddles are deep and muddy

Plenty of sections have had work done and I thought it was riding well the other week. They'll be lots of puddles but it holds up well otherwise IMO.

Couple of sections were still shut due to tree falls but all the good bits were open.

Gisburn is much wetter than Llandegla, and the trail pixies have been working on the puddles on the climb at Deggers this past week.

Was drier than expected on 22nd, having pissed it down the week previously. Some trees over a couple of trails but nothing that blocked them.

Gisburn is always wet but pretty much always rideable. I've been when it hasn't rained for a month and it's still been wet!

If there’s exposed roots etc then that’s proper mountain biking! I do love Gizzy, sorts the men and ladies from the boys/girls for sure. Not been for years but last time we went really enjoyed it!!
