I am building the above and I think I need the LBS to help me finish off a few bits. Am trying to assist by researching/getting odd parts beforehand.
Bottom Bracket - is a push fit type - can anyone confirm if BB30 sounds right? Have heard two conflicting views on BB type...
Front Mech - does anyone know what size/type would fit? I am using Shimano 3 x 9 speed gearing, which will probably soon be niche/retro. I know the seat post is 30.9, but not sure of the diameter of the tube above the BB.
Any help appreciated.

Measure the tube is the only certain way, you can pick a set of calipers up for less than a tenner.

Need to get me some calipers, always seem to need them.
I have a 2011 Trance X.
It takes a PF92 BB.
As for FD, you'll need a 34.9 clamp (or dual/unisize which includes 34.9) and it needs to be top swing, as the clamp of a 'normal' FD goes where the seat tube is starting to curve.
