Return them both and get some wheels with a decent freehub instead. I have no experience with Easton wheels BTW but that doesn't matter much on here.

Have different coloured wheels and call it a fashion choice

But don't black spokes snap more easily?

Bought a auto Maserati to drive to 'Hit the North' yet?

I was rushing to get the chores done so I could go view a Masterati when I bust my ankle. I was probably within four hours of owning it. They come with paddle shift so still might get one when I am walking again.

Oh we'll, I guess it is better than having just bought it and looking at it sat on the drive.

I know someone who had some wheels built up at a shop. When he picked them up they had different colour spokes ‘because they had run out of black’.

Cue large ca-fufle in the shop with demands that they are rebuilt / accusations of vanity and a mention that Black spokes are weaker.

The wheels were rebuilt but no one came out a winner.

Go and ride them. In the current conditions they will both be a dull brown very quickly 🙂

So the wheels were rebuild with black spokes and nobody came out a winner.

Proof black spokes are slower. 😉
