Depends. Are you married to Jeannie Longo?

Getting beaten by your wife in a 24hr solo. Ask GF how embarrasing that was. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Why is it embarassing? You should be proud of her.

just no one seemed to care ๐Ÿ™

Ive gone and bought a 16T fixed sprocket for the pompino and shall be ahving another go very soon. I reckon 81" instead of 73" might just do it ๐Ÿ™‚

That is truly sickening. There would be more dignity in an admission that you enjoy pegging. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If only I knew what pegging was.

In my defence, Mrs S can run a sub 3:15 marathon
I can only run for last orders ๐Ÿ™‚

and did I mention the pompino vs Dura Ace Carbon Road bike thing?
I have confidence in my trouser wearing.

Fair enough - I obviously missed that. Was reading the Malvern Gazette in the physio's waiting room today and spotted some familiar names - quite impressed by her time on that course though (not exactly what most time triallists would call flat)!

You also needed a better thread title for more publicity ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

she's been doing a bit more cross training this year and enjoying getting on the bike.

The guys were pretty impressed and I reckon she could get sub 27m on that course without trying too much harder.

Fastest guy that night did something around 26m I think.

Get used to it, once it starts it'll never stop.
Happens to me all the time, so do what I do, harness the power and enter as a mixed pair.
Cheers

So, another singletrack sub-group - my wife / girlfriend is does better than me at mountain bike races / events?

Happens to me all the time unless I compete with her, have only finished higher once in all the time we've been going out. Good thing is when we do compete together we do quite well.
