The last time I bought a set of lights, they had "Pifco" stamped on the body and ran on a pair of D size batteries. I'm looking for a set of lights that are good enough to use if I get caught when the sun goes down, less than £50 if possible. I'd love some WW2 searchlight style troutlights but not going to spend that amount (yet). What should I get? Preferably "buy well, buy once" quality and enough to get me home through the woods at dusk.
