I wanted to attach a Garmin Out front mount to my Thomson stem rather than on the handlebar for a cleaner look. Any recommendations?

Not many stem mounted ones, most are specific to a particular brand of stem. I got a random one of eBay that adjusts to various fits.

There are a couple of stem plate mounted ones. Some come with dedicated stems, others act as a washer in front of the stem plate.
