I have no trouble importing tracks from my Garmin Etrex into Memory Map, but when I try with my Edge 305 I get an error message saying that the track datatype is not supported.
Anyone have any experience of this, or does anyone know how to convert a .hst file to a .gpx or similar?

I've had this. I use mapsource to download the track and save as a GPX and then import it into MM. You could do the same with SportsTracks or GPS Utility.
IIRC its a MM version thing - a later version will probably fix it. Oh and I can get routes to upload from MM to the edge without a problem - very weird!
