I've just fitted carbon rigids to my 29er and my front skewer seems to be too short due to the thickness of the fork drop outs. It still does up but in my mind there isn't enough thread going into the end cap. Do they come in different lengths to get around this ? Cheers

Normally road are 130mm/MTB 135mm.On cyclo-cross bikes you need to use 135mm to get over the disc brakes.Thats Hope ones in my case.

Makes me wonder why my normal qr is too short. I'm hoping to maybe cut down a rear if the thread is long enough as I don't think it's too safe.
