It developed a month or so ago, but seems to be properly squishy now, which i'm guessing is an issue with the air/nitrogen leaking or the likes, anyone else suffered this, as always, shocks 14 months old, so guessing outside warranty, is it an easy fix, or a full TF service?
What makes you day out of warranty?
The factory warranty period for your fork/shock is one year (two years for countries in the EU) from the original date of purchase of the bicycle or fork/shock. A copy of the original purchase receipt must accompany any fork/shock being considered for warranty service. Warranty is at the full discretion of FOX Racing Shox and will cover only defective materials and workmanship. Warranty duration and laws may vary from state to state and/or country to country.
Full service I’m afraid. The squishy will be the cavitation in the damper as the nitro charge is absent (and possibly mixed in the damper now)
Cheers, guessed it was the nitrogen, but hoped for an easy fix, which was pure hope as a leak on a hydro/air system doesn't tend to get better!

As you say, 12 month warranty, and if it's an air leak they'll just put it down as degradation over time, would always happen the month after i sold the spare coil shock for it as well!
There is no easy fix on an X2. As the piggy back is on the opposite end to normal, you can't even get the air can off without an oil and nitrogen service.
My X2 blew up 4 times before I lobbed it on ebay as spares or repair. Got £250 and put it towards something else.
I'll never buy suspension that I can't service at home. Especially when they can shit themselves on such a regular basis and your only option is a pro rebuild for £££££.

What are you running now? I’ve only had one “service at home” shock and it was an absolute **** to try and bleed and charge (so much so that the service at home bit was actually retracted before it went on sale)
The X2 can be service at home although it does require a selection of specialist tools. Nitrogen has been mentioned but the X2 actually has a normal Schrader valve and ordinary air to pressurise the back side of the IFP. Bleeding can be labourious though.
Helped a mate service and bleed a RS Monarch Delux recently which was surprisingly straightforward.
Service interval for Fox rear shocks is every year or 125 hours (which, if you did a 4 hour ride once a week would mean you'd be servicing after around 6 months) - this is a 'needs servicing' issue not a warranty issue in any case.
