My revelations 2019 debonair 29er forks are currently approaching ride no.3. First 2 rides I bottomed out all the way around. Tojightni set the sag at 20% and it needed nearly 150psi. Tye charts says 105 to 115psi.

What is that about. Anyone had a faulty shock pump?

Surely the forks cant need that much.

Try releasing all the air from the fork, then re-inflating, cycling the fork to equalise the negative and positive changers evry 20psi or so.

On my Fox 36's I initially needed 97psi to get the right sag, now after re-inflating I'm at 80psi with only a couple of mm less sag. I weigh 80k and so based on the reccomended chart I need 80psi.

It’s been a long while since I’ve bought a new fork but in the past I’ve always found they take a few hours of riding to bed in the seals. Things start to become a bit smoother a freer flowing. Give it a few more more rides and see if that improves.
