On another thread I mentioned building up a Cotic Solaris. The creative juices are flowing and am now considering the build. Initially I think I want a fairly burly 29er...so thinking a reasonable fork...

Couple of questions

Re fork - Cotic are dishing out X Fusion Trace 29 Fork with their full builds. Are these any good? and how simple are they to get serviced compared to the two main players?

Alternatively - what would be an equivalent. I'm looking a 120mm trail fork than can take a little more abuse than an XC fork.

Last question - If it any point I want to fit a 27.5+ wheel, do I need to give any consideration to Boost hub compatibility? Would I be right in assuming this is a different width? or are the forks standard.

Thanks

Traces are easy the get serviced.
Pikes are the obvious answer due to cost & performance and can be adjusted to 120mm, performance is better than the rather basic X fusions.

Boost compatible Pikes are available too.

I don't really want boost hubs. I'm wondering whether all semi fat wheel offerings are likely to be rolling on Boost hubs though...
