I have always sent stuff to TF in the past, but it's maybe not the same since being sold on ?

Some other places look a bit better on cost too. Loco posts on here and seems to offer a good service ?

based in Glasgow, so courier to whoever, so location not critical

Based in North wales. Did a good job on a set of forks for me. They have been recommended by others as well.

Was always happy with Tim Flooks' work, but will in future give mine to Box at BAB as he's very local to me (Somerset).

interesting as a riding buddy took his lefty into evans to fix a leaky seal and service and they completely f---ed it up. Dunno if they put too much oil in or what but it was locked solid. He took it back to the branch he put it in and they admitted they'd sent it off to another branch/workshop to get it done, so they couldnt explain or solve the problem and it had to go off again.

Personally I'd cut out the risk of incompetence from a national chain with a poor reputation for customer service and go to an expert.

You don't need to look to far into Evans system to learn that they send the suspension servicing to a central small team of specialists (experts) who in my experience did a great job and I would personally recommend them and use them again.

Definatly not Stendec, they have a terrible reputation.

Says a lot when they are the official UK service centre for Cane Creek with the Double Barrel, and Cane Creek suggested I send it back to the USA for a general service rather than 'risk the current UK service centre (under review).

I had a rear shock serviced by TFT around six months ago. The shock hadn't been serviced in a long time (at the hands of the previous owner) and was suffering. Got some great advice from TFT as to what best to do and they sourced the parts and had the shock back to me really quickly. I'd definitely recommend them.

Stendec all day long, Dave does a great job, on forks and shox's and has set up several bikes for me, sag and spring setting etc and transformed them from great rides to stunning ones and always has loads of cool stories from the world cup. My vote every time

Firstly, did, for a year. Doesn't any more as they have been on Marzocchi for the last 12 months.

I'm well aware of the reputation of them, and have seen first hand, some of the truly appaling workmanship on more that one occasion.

There are plenty of better alternatives.

Loco is 10-15% less than TF, so think I will give them a go
