To cut a long story short I've grabbed a mech hanger so I can go out on a ride tomorrow. But the "seat" is slightly overcooked, i.e. it's too tight and won't allow the hub/wheel to sit (even with some serious banging).

So I'm thinking I can rub it down with a metal/steel file from any old hardware store, yes?

Would rather do that than spend £16 in the morning just for the sake of it.

Cheers Ton, I'll pick up a file in the morning.
