Booked the ferry for mid september for a couple of week break in France with the caravan. Will be taking and bikes for wife and I and the trailer for the 2 girls. Havent really got an agenda at the moment, but fancy trying to get a few day trips out on the bike and trailer - thinking forest roads / trials and a picknick mid ride, etc. Any suggestions for areas to aim for ? - I'm thinking fontainbleu might be a good starting point ?

Cheers

do beware of thefts at campsites. They are an increasing phenomenon and gangs are hitting sites all over the country.

Our site was done over one night at about 3am. They even went into peoples caravans while they slept and stole money and phones.

They only got away with our kiddie trailer (at the end of our holiday at least), and thank god they left my unlocked Ti29er ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Heard a few rumours of that sort of thing - Even people drilling holes through vans and motorhomes to gas the occupants before entering ! Needless to say I will be 'economical' with what I bring to the wifes attention.
