I use the long bottle brush and degreaser and then dry out with rag on wooden dowel ๐

you could fit the hamster on an electric drill if you're against manual labour.

and then drop/force in a ferret to 'clean' out the hamster, remembering to hang on to its tail. Once the red stuff has stopped seeping out the bottom pull said ferret out by the tail ๐ - job done

But don't use anything that will cause the seals to swell (assuming you leave them in).
