Arnt they just bloody ace!

Had so much fun on mine yesterday. Now I understand why people choose to ride a HT over a FS!!

I have a mechanical bull set up at home, I cant understand why more people dont ride these! Far wilder than mtbing and you dont have to go out and get all wet and muddy

Truly the best bike ever made. No arguments, end of, FACT.

I took mine on a rag round the peak last week and this week and quite frankly can't imagine it on a full susser.

I used to have one of the old ones and it was a great frame. But you hit the limitations pretty quickly on technical descents where line choice is limited, but thats true with all hardtails....great fun at trail centres though! 🙂

Interesting, I think it excels in tech stuff and usually take the bouncer to glentress because it seems to suit it more.

The Evil is perfect for Laggan/Dalbeattie etc. though.

Ive just got a long 853 and took it out instead of my Pitch and it suits the local terrain much more than the Pitch does. Its much smoother than my DMR was over the bumpy rooty stuff (must be the magic tubes) despite the stays being about twice the size but also much more direct.

With the seat up its like a fun trail bike and with it down it feels like a 4x bike bloody fantastic! As jae says "adaptable steel lovelyness."

I had one and it was amazingly fun to ride! Wish I still had it!!

Mrs said no to 2 XC bikes though!! So sold it to Neil on here... I'm sure he'll be along to to add his input!!

Very versatile! Had mine down the BMX track and out for all day xc rides!

I bought a green 853 frame off Ebay recently and finally got to build it up a couple of weeks ago, and haven't ridden anything else since! It is an awesome frame!! It encourages hooligan riding that only my Intense Slopestyle gets close to! For once, the reviews in MBUK are spot-on regarding the wheels rarely being on the ground at the same time or pointing in the same direction. It makes me laugh outloud, and lets me drop my riding buddy on twisty singletrack. Just brilliant!

The only downside being quite heavy made me wonder about a Ti version too.

I love this bike!!!!!

Hia
I bought BIGMANs Evil, it's lovely. So much more fun that my Soul to be honest. ALthough it is very much a seat down razzer rather than an XC number IMO.
