[Closed] Ever seen a colour and thought, "ohhh that would look good on a bike"?

My DMR was colour co-ordinated with a red plastic ruller (the same red used to make the caps on bic biro's).

I was thinking a gray, similar to MacLaren F1 cars, but don't think the powdercoaters will do metalic. So needs to be a colour of something you see in plastic everyday (unless you have a RAL chart handy to check).

Only colour that looks good on a bike is earthy colour.

The only time I clean my bikes is when they're of to the coaters so always 'earthy' ๐Ÿ™‚

Ohh and brown bikes look poo, I was tempted by a pitch, but the comp just looked so much nicer than the pro.

Yes on a 1960's Jaguar that I occasionally see driving around. It's a very dark violet. It was the inspiration for my Roberts White Spider which I had done in a violet to white fade. Some time later Muddy Fox did a similar colour scheme but it didn't look a patch on mine.

you can get a metal flake powder coat, its a light 2nd coat over any colour you choose..
