wtf was all that about ? a little drizzle turned the top layer of dust into the slippiest mud i've ever seen on dartmoor. quite a shock after 6 or 7 weeks of bone dry dustyness. how's the rest of the country been ?
ah i could say i told you so but i wont 😉
slippery as all hell down here in plymski too so i went off trail building
Afan yesterday was wet and muddy but today less than 100 miles away the FOD was dry and dusty! Typical UK
fmh, it wasn't thick, deep, mud, just a couple of mm of butter on top 😯
ah not the shitefest i was expecting then, my house overlooks the moor and its looked pretty bleak for most of the day, cann woods was just wet wiht lethal roots.
Dusty trails on the Qs .
bone dry on the viking challenge! unheard of!! 🙂
The butter slick kinda dried off on the Mendip. Was a bit slippy in the woods but nobbad.
midgley moor? twas very muddy 👿
Bone dry at Llandegla, although it did start to rain as we were leaving.
Tavi woodlands was a laugh. Dry under tree cover and slick as **** out of it. Made some section really interesting going from grip to nothing and back again every 10ft....
Bone dry, dusty and hard as nails out in the lowlands of Epping.
drizzle @ princetown but pretty dry under tyre going down and up from Burrator Resovoir - no mud to be seen but it is pretty rocky 🙂
Sun and just the odd puddle at the FoD today 🙂
Can't believe I missed a DRY Viking Challenge!
Dry and dusty here on the Derby Notts border, apart from where some farmer chump is letting a cattle trough overflow onto a lovely downhill bit, making it incredibly muddy for 200 fast and slightly buttock clenching yards
Ace conditions for trail building and chariot pulling on the Chase!
any traces of dust will have left the moors now. it was hammering it down up there this morning...
not so much hammering down in the benign east, just misty. i'm hopeful the trails will be ok at the weekend.
dry at cwmcarn...
