Wasn't it wet yesterday at Afan! Rode W2 and got soaked to the bone, but it was worth it. Seemed to be a lot of people kicking about despite the rain though.

Why does at always rain on you when you go to Afan.

This area and the Neath Valley are [b]very[/b] prone to suffer from the old "sky sweat" ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've been to Afan 3 times, and it's been cold and wet twice. It's still absolutely fantastic though, if your components (cables, pads etc) will stand up to it. When the clouds are really down low, it's quite eerie coming out at the top of the hill to see the windmills looming out of the mist at you...

nice pics mate, am up there in a few weeks , on whites 2 do you ride the wall as well ,looked at the map , but cant see a split off ?? how long to do both ( coming from exeter devon ).cheers

Yeah rode the W2 (Whites and Wall) on the SS. Just follow the W2 signs and the link will become clear. Not sure how long it took yesterday as we had a mixed group but I've done it in about 3hours or so before iirc.

Dunt matter if it rains there it seems just as good to ride IMO. Nice pics.

Yeah from the Rhayader ride a few weeks back Mark took a Banshee and rode us all off the back!
