Dylan's bike was a fixie with an ENO hub, we rode very little downhill so it was no biggie. But I was glad to have mine with a freewheel.

Makes you realise what a vast area Alaska is compared to little old england. Such a huge area, and absolutely nothing there but nature, not a single soul until they came into that one small town..

I'm curious about the brakes- one doesn't seem to run any, the other only has rear, and v's at that. edit- just seen the fixie comment 😕
And pedals have been removed in that pic outside the cabin- were they worried that somebody might make off with the bike otherwise
