I've been trawling round the usual tinternet sites (wiggle,crc),
looking for a wheelset for my upcoming bike build.
Hope Pro2's are out of the question (see other threads!)
so I found a set of DT Swiss X1800's.
They look pretty good value for money and I haven't got a massive budget,
so anyone use them and are they any good?

I've ran a Hope on the front for years. I've no idea that its there. Thats how it should be.
Hope's hubs are great - just lots of them around so I guess there's the odd glitch.

it's just I can't find anywhere with 'em available!

OP ring Evans Deansgate. They have a Hope hoop rear on DT5.1 (now EX500) along with a front (rear is £157). I find Evans stock figures can be out so when you ask them to check their system. Ask them to check whats hanging.
They were holding the rear for me but I've since found that my rear old Chris King wheel is saveable.

Update...
I've found and ordered a pair of hope pro 2's on Dt rims at Winstanleys bikes.
Please tell me that they're ok to deal with!
