Advice please.
I've just bought some DT Swiss EXM130 forks on the bay. They have launch control.
Initial "tests",by pushing down on top of the steerer, indicate the rebound is working OK, changing the rebound from lightning quick to treacly. The compression knob, though, seems to have no discernable effect at all. Should it? High speed compression is fixed, with low speed adjustable. Should I be able to notice any difference when I twiddle the knob this way or that,or are the forks faulty?

It's very hard to tell by bouncing the forks. Compression is more subtle than rebound.
