Fitted mine the day I picked my bike up as I like to keep a record of miles clocked up to see how long chains & other wear items last, (just for fun)
Passed another small benchmark today,

had the bike 13 months and is used every Sunday & Tuesday evening rides in the summer. How many have you got on the clock ?
I used to have one, but since i got my Forerunner 405 for running i just use that on the bike as well.
only use mine when i ride somewhere other than my local trails (got caught out one very hot summer in the 7Stanes, never again), probably have about 50 miles on mine in last 4 years. nice job on the 2k
Have one on my road bike and used to run one on my mtb. Road bikes somewhere north of 3700 last time i checked.
As of 1st Jan (the last time I checked)
Mileage Totals, Whyte 19 SS 4338.9miles, Whyte 19 Race 2422.1miles, Whyte 19Ti SS 463.2miles, Whyte E5 2387miles, Marin Mill Valley 2276.4miles, Genesis Flyer 446.5miles, Orbea igorre 15miles (but it was only 2 days old).
The one I had on my Lemond road bike had gone over 50000 when I sold it (the bike, not the computer!)
I'd had it about 10 years or so and was doing loads of riding and racing back then as well as commuting on it.
The one on my good road bike has done 10000 but that bike doesn't get used as much - I think I got the bike in 2003 sometime so it's not a huge amount of mileage for a road bike in 8 years.

garmin 310 xt, keeps track of all my bikes...perfek !
