New Shimano deore 4 pot brakes.
Front fitted to a yari with a post mount.
203mm disc and adapter leaves me with this ......

The caliper is clearly not sat correctly over the disc ??
Any ideas ?
Yari probably has a 180mm post mount so you only need a +20 adaptor.

A 180pm>203pm
Or just a standard +20 and a few washers.
Pretty sure it's a post mount for 160. 180 on my Yaris and using a 20mm adapter

The +20mm mounts are bolt through. That mount is correct for 160->203.

Just to be completely sure... Is your disc definitely 203 and not 180?
This is mine with 180. The mounts look different though.
I did exactly the same last week. Bought a 203 rotor and the straight post adaptor. Rock shox yari mount is 180 so you need the 180 to 203 adaptor:
