Browsing Bike Discount, I found this; the Dirt Suit.
Looks intriguing. Maybe a tad overkill for the colonies for most of the year, but would be perfect for winter night riding.
Anyone?

Around this neck of the woods, it seems most of the bike-park lot wear disposable decorating suits in the bad weather.

I think it's a good idea, the light version seems like it might be good.

Although I think it's a good idea €200/€300 depending on the model puts it out of consideration for me. It could be worth it if you really need it mind.

The light version has that prison uniform look going on.
I'd probably get the Classic if it wasn't only available in bright green.

It looks like a shorts version of the spray suits that I wore whilst dinghy sailing (and last wore sledging last winter!). I'd probably buy one if it was cheaper.

As above really, saw these a while back, think they are a great idea for really crap days, just a shame they are priced on the ridiculous side of things.

Expensive I'll admit but how many waterproof jackets are £150+ and how many waterproof shorts are £80+?

Compared to a Gore jacket & pants, they're not too bad.

I bought a motorcycle suit for £25. Ideal for D/H days but far to warm for anything else bike related

Trouble is, the arse will lose it's waterproofability at the same rate as regular shorts (about 3 mucky rides?). Do you wash it like riding clobber, or like a waterproof?
