Fitted some new bars to my commuter and forgot to put the bell back on.
Had 2 commutes which includes a long shared use path with dog walkers, joggers, mums with prams etc. and it was a bloody nightmare.
Put my bell back on las night and peace and harmony has been restored

On that note [sorry] what bell do you use? Last time I had a look in the lbs all bells seem to be designed for tiny diameter bars....

It's one that came with the bike - goes over the bar tape too.
Oh and do you not need those ground anchors?
Sorry FH, I'd forgotten all about them - looking again, I think 50 cm may be too short, but thanks a lot for the offer.
