MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Just seen a lad at brewery wharf with a very nice Transition DH bike and fullface. Got me thinking where he was going? Have also seen a few people in Moortown (where I live) with DH bikes and all the kit.
Are there any descent places to go in leeds?

[/url]that transition? with that helmet?
There's no DH of any real note in Leeds (IMO) , there's a few DH type runs at post hill off the Pudsey ring road near Wickes or Middleton woods (make sure there's a good sized group due to scallys).
To tell the truth neither of those are any better than the short runs you probably know already in Meanwood valley.
the nearest thing to a proper DH locally is the descent line at Stainburn, or get down to Wharncliffe woods near Sheffield.
Have a look on www.mtbleeds.co.uk for a few ideas.
There's a dude that commutes on the train with his bike and then rides to work in Leeds. He rides an Orange Patriot.
No everyone on a DH bike is going DH.
[lust mode] Oh I do love a transition, what a lush looking bike [/lust mode]
there are some very good dh runs in miggy woods.
enough for a couple of hours fun.
that transition? with that helmet?
Nope not that one. The frame was yellow/black/white I think.
