What's the nicest looking bike you have seen?

I don't see how a bike can be sexy but smart/looks good/well designed/best colour coded/etc i can understand.

I personally like some Seven bikes but there is a guy i've seen post up on here all of his 9 Seven bikes and some of them are just plain ugly. Of course thats all from my POV and I'm sure he thinks they all are very nice and he may not like what I like.

What's your personal favourite? I dont care if its one of your own bikes, a mates bike or just one in a mag you saw once.

03 Heckler is the best looking suss bike IMO. And yes I've owned 2.

For hardtails, early Konas looked great. They got sloping top tubes and straight forks just right.

I usually think full-sussers are ugly (function over form) but that ^ transition did catch my eye in the other thread too...even the red rims seem to work too

These threads always turn into people nominating their own bikes and a lot of the time beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder.

nominating their own bikes

Yeah, and why not, I think my Yeti is much better looking than all of the above. Especially the flippin road bikes!

Agreed,

personally I think that a custom built frame and forks possibly even bar and stem combo all colour matched with bling kit to dress it would be my thing of beauty. Think American hand built show...oh and only one gear.

My point proven exactly DezB, beauty blah blah blah. There is very little inspirational on these threads.

Someone posted this in another thread. I reckon it's the best looking 29er I have seen. Full of clever non-obvious detail work. Only 18.5lbs for a steel bike!

For me, it's not going to be an FS bike, maybe a hardtail, but probably a road bike.

I don't know about nicest looking bike, but this 1990 bear valley will be one of the best I have seen when it's finished. The amount of work that has gone into it is staggering......
