I really really hate big bangs like that. Scare me to death.

1 hour on. Still got ringing in my ears, but I mounted it again, put in the Stans and pumped it up gently. It all seems to be sealed.

New Yumeya chain on as well so continuing my hour a day ride tonight.

Although if we start at 7:45 like we usually do, and finish at 9:15 like we usually do then I'm going to be pushed to get a full hour in, as it will take at least 30 mins to put a tube in and mend a chain half way round.

I can't really understand how this could happen unless the bead on the tyre is broken.

Wouldn't trust it myself.

I couldn't understand either, especially as the tyre ended up lying on the floor a little way from the wheel. So both beads must have hopped over the rim, which took loads of grunt to get over in the first place.

But as a devout Christian, I am used to things which defy rational logic. 8)
