So - I've got a 3.45 wake up call. Collecting / ferrying missus's colleagues (IT stuff) all over the shop. I wont get back to sleep.
Plan is minch moor for dawn unless anyone has a better idea?
TJ to the forum.
Edit- poss Druidh et al also..
You are local? NOt sure I can add to your knowledge...and you seem to already know what you want.
Borestane might be pretty, Top of Hillend
Minch moor is a good shout - but what about the (adjacent) southern upland way along to the three brethren? That would be exceptional at sunrise if the weather was right.
Al, Gary: Thanks- yea I know whats about : but it's just such an abnormal time to get up for me - I dont want to miss some "once in a life time" thing.
/Edit- Minch Moor it is - barring genius ideas. Cant actually imagine much better tbh. /
Pentland ridge? Turnhouse to the Kips. You won't meet any walkers at that time of day.
Can't think of any perfect spot, I'm never up that early...just somewhere high with good views to the west?
