Is it just me or is it just not up to the task.
I am a big fan on my MTB and even run it on my road bike.
Finding a suitable low pressure and they burp and then upping pressure I might as well run a tube.
Stayed up OK for a while then a loss of air while riding a distance then OK again?
Running Specialised Terra 2 bliss on Hunt/Mason 4 season disc.
Currently running 32 psi front and 35 rear.
Any other recommended combo's?
Thanks,
Max

I've been running tubeless on my cross bike for ages now. Currently Terra Pro 2bliss on Stans Crest. Zero issues at all. Have raced them at close to 20psi and run anywhere between 30 and 40 psi for local rides - it's pretty rocky and even running 70psi with tubes I used to pinch flat from time to time. Currently on the wrong side of 95kg.

Hmm,
Taken the MTB ones as totally reliable but the CX ones have been hit or miss.
Been up for a couple of league races but just went out for a casual spin the other day and the front was losing pressure.
Topped it up a couple of times and seems fine now.
I am racing tomorrow so am a little concerned!
I have had no issues running tubes when racing only thorn punctures when local riding.
I am 85 kg so not overly heavy.
I will preserve a bit longer!

The older non 2bliss Spesh tyres I had used to need topping up each week but always stayed up enough for a day or two.

The new 2bliss terra pro have been spot on for me ( stans race gold wheels )
Had some rocket rons in 33c but side walls kept ripping

I've been tubeless for well over a year, stans grail rims set up as per stans instructions, vittoria xl tnt down to 28psi and not even a hint of burpage. I'm 79kg and not exactly a gentle rider over tech sections or roots.

Rims have been faultless with Schwalbe Ones in 28.
Higher pressure at 70 though.
Might try the tape and see how I get on.

Stans iron cross with Clement tubeless tyres (MXP/PDX) and bonty tubeless cx0 with no real issues here. Run a shade over 20psi, burped hte front once but that was my clumsy riding to blame. Around 9 stone, could probably go lower pressure but haven't felt the need yet

Hutchinson Toro here for winter, they're back on for a second winter and I am happy with their performance. The vee jobbie I had on for summer (admittedly non-tubeless run tubeless) were OK but I had more issues inflating and keeping them inflated.

I think width is a significant factor the Hutchinsons are 32mm the Vees are 40mm. wider tyres are nice but put more of an angle on the bead and hence burp more easily... IME

I think the fit is key.
The Terra are 33mm wide and went up fairly easily.
Usually on the MTB if the tyre is slack inflation is a problem.
Maybe try and get a tighter fit or try a different tyre?
Just a few drops in pressure that I was not expecting.
Maybe just teething troubles!
Thanks,
Max

32mm Panaracer Gravel King SK's (they do have a tubeless ready bead) on DT Swiss R24 Spline DB wheelset have been absolutely faultless, went up easily and have stayed up!

Well,
racing today on them has been fine.
I will try putting some more rim tape on for future events though.
Maybe the past pressure losses are from punctures it can't deal with?
They seem to stay inflated ok but do one ride and one is going down and then they are ok for a couple of rides.
Thanks,
Max
